Hello and welcome to my fishing and outdoor journal.

I am a veteran US Navy Submariner.  To my fellow military peeps out there, I solute you.

I have been fishing and camping since before I can remember. I have raised two daughters to fish and camp up until they reached that wonderful age of I don’t care anymore. 🙂 I am lucky enough to be married to a woman that likes to fish almost more than I do. My primary method of fishing in the northwest is aboard my Alumaweld Pacific 27 on the Willamette, Lower Columbia and out in the ocean. Salmon and Tuna are the species I target the most. When I am not fishing, I try to get out camping at least once a month.

I had an idea to start writing about my experiences and sharing to the world. Mixed in with these experiences, I will be giving instruction on various tasks and highlighting products that I find very cool and useful hoping that my followers will as well.
